[-empyre-] introducing web 3dart 2003 (part 1)

 Web3D Art 2003 is an international selection of 25 works by artists,
researchers and students from 10 countries. Juried this year by Masaki
Fujihata (Japan), Arghyro Paouri (France), Karel Dudesek (Austria/UK), Tom
Holley (UK) and Kathy Rae Huffman, the selection was the official Art Show
for the Web3D International Symposium, an ACM SIGGRAPH event. It will be
shown at several
venues during Lab3D, including: ICA, London; Watershed, Bristol; Folly
Gallery, Lancaster; Ravensbourne College, Kent; Center of Contemporary Art,
Skopje, Macedonia; the Experimental Art Foundation, Adelaide, Australia, and
at The Media Centre, Huddersfield, UK.

The show is organised along two parallel lines:
artists and designers, and academic research and student work .
We will introduce briefly the artists in each category in the next two
emails.
